Why I Created Reflections

I've always been fascinated by questions that don't have easy answers.

What is consciousness?

Why do some moments quietly shape the course of our lives while others fade into memory?

What happens in the mind during hypnosis?

Why do certain ideas linger with us for years, while others disappear almost as quickly as they arrive?

The older I get, the more I've come to appreciate that life isn't simply about collecting answers. It's about learning to ask better questions.

Over the years, I've found myself captivated by subjects as diverse as psychology, neuroscience, hypnosis, philosophy, spirituality, and quantum physics. At first glance, they may seem unrelated, yet they all seem to circle the same mystery: What does it truly mean to be conscious, to heal, and to be human?

This collection of essays is simply a place to think out loud.

Some reflections will grow from books I've been reading. Others will emerge from conversations, moments in nature, scientific discoveries, my own experiences, or questions that arise through the practice of hypnotherapy. Rather than sharing other people's stories, I hope to explore the ideas, patterns, and moments of insight that have gradually shaped the way I understand healing, consciousness, and the human experience.

You may not agree with every perspective I explore here—and that's perfectly okay. In truth, I don't always know where a question will lead when I begin writing. Sometimes an idea I felt certain about changes as I continue learning. I've found that's one of the quiet gifts of remaining curious.

These reflections aren't intended to persuade anyone to adopt a particular worldview. They're simply an invitation to slow down, wonder, and perhaps see familiar ideas from a different perspective.

I don't expect these reflections to provide definitive answers. If anything, I hope they encourage better questions. Because, in my experience, curiosity has a way of opening doors that certainty never could.
